Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty – Nose job cost

From: £2,950 / €3,450

OVERVIEW OF THE RHINOPLASTY PROCEDURE

Our surgeon, Dr Adam Kalecinski, is a member of the esteemed ‘Rhinoplasty Society of Europe’ and has successfully performed nose reshaping surgery on various celebrity clients, including Helen Wood (winner of ‘Big Brother’), Christopher Maloney (‘X Factor’ & ‘Big Brother’), and Ricci Guarnaccio (‘Geordie Shore’), amongst others.

The shape of your nose is usually the result of heredity, although the appearance may be altered by injury or previous surgical procedure. Also known as rhinoplasty, a nose job improves the appearance and proportion of your nose, enhancing facial harmony, and ultimately, self confidence. A reconstructive surgery may also correct impaired breathing caused by structural abnormalities within the nose.

If you want a cosmetic rhinoplasty, a nose reshaping surgery purely for aesthetic reasons, we recommend waiting until you’re at least 17 or 18 years old. This is when your nose should stop developing.

Nose Job Cost – How Much Does a Rhinoplasty Surgery Cost in Poland?

At Europe Surgery, the rhinoplasty surgery cost starts from £2,950 (or €3,450).

This price applies to a standard nose job, which uses existing cartilage and bone. A rib cartilage rhinoplasty—which involves taking cartilage from the ribcage to augment the nose—costs £4,100 (or €4,700), as it is a more complex, multistep procedure. You can discuss the best option for your circumstances with our surgeon during your initial consultation.

What Can Nose Surgery Accomplish?

Rhinoplasty, or a ‘nose job’, can change:

  • Nose size, in relation to the other facial features
  • Nose width, at the bridge
  • Nose bone profile, to remedy humps or depressions on the bridge
  • Nasal tip, that might be too large or bulbous, drooping, or upturned
  • Nostrils that are large, wide or upturned
  • Nasal septum asymmetry and deviation

Besides cosmetic reasons, a rhinoplasty can also help with other medical reasons:

  • Breathing difficulties due to a deviated septum
  • Injuries like a broken nose or other facial injuries that require a reconstructive surgery
  • Congenital abnormalities like cleft upper lip
  • Sinus problems that can be addressed by improving airflow

Rhinoplasty Procedure Overview

Procedure Time

The rhinoplasty surgery is usually completed within two hours by our plastic surgeon, depending upon the character and complication of the ‘nose job’ procedure.

Post-Operative Care Time

After the plastic surgery the nose is covered with a stiff dressing, immobilising the bone. The dressing remains on the nose for about a week. Usually gauze “packing” of the nostrils is not required. After the nose job surgery the patient remains in the clinic overnight; leaving the following morning after a discharge appointment. The patient remains in Wroclaw for a minimum period of a further 4 nights, accessing daily morning check-ups at the clinic before flying home once discharged.

Recovery Time

For the first 24-48 hours after a rhinoplasty, or nose job, procedure, any excess effort should be avoided, and patients are recommended to stay mostly in a sitting or lying position with their head up.

During this time, cold compresses should be applied around the base of the nose and the eyes. This reduces the postoperative swelling and bruising within the first few days. Skin bruising around the eyes may still be visible for about two weeks, depending on the individual patient’s predisposition.

Resuming normal activities is possible within 1-2 weeks after rhinoplasty. A minimum stay of 5 nights in Poland post-procedure is required.
