What is a designer vagina?

The designer vagina is when women go through cosmetic surgery on their vulva to increase vaginal tightness.

Why do women want a designer vagina?

• Feel larger than normal and would like the vagina tightened

Women might have this and the labia reduction. All scarring is inside the vagina and is not visible from outside. The cosmetic surgery process involves condensing the underlying pelvic muscles, tightening and altering the vagina angle so as to strengthen the pelvic floor. What to expect after designer vagina surgery

Use painkillers to manage any pain and rest for a week after the surgery. Avoid penetrative sex up to about six to eight weeks. The incision should be maintained dry and clean until it heals. Consider the following to allow full healing.

• Expect some bruising, swelling and pain.
• Swelling may linger for as long as two to four weeks
• Use a stool softener, drink plenty of fluids, and eat fruits and vegetables to help to keep the stools soft and prevent constipation
• Try to stand or lie down, avoiding sitting down for the first 2 weeks
• Apply ice packs to the perineum and vulvar structures that were treated, off and on for the first 48 hours to reduce swelling.
• Shower on the second or third day following surgery, no baths for 4 weeks
• No thong underwear or tight-fitting clothing for 4 weeks.
• You may need to be out of work and away from your usual activities for the first week.
• Limit strenuous activities for 2-3, avoid high impact activity for 1 month
• Gradually return to activities like lifting and light exercise.
• No jogging or bouncing for up to 6 weeks.

Labia Minora Reduction

The excess that is protruding off labia majora is removed and coagulated with this special tool so it doesn’t bleed. Afterwards, it’s stitched up along the incision. There may be some minor discomfort post-op, of course, some swelling or bruising.

A lot of cosmetic gynaecologists and plastic surgeons still use antiquated methods of reducing the labia minora, the flaps of skin either side of the vagina, by cutting off the excess skin and stitching up over the raw edges.
