On average, it can take between 4 and 6 hours to travel from the UK to Turkey. It can depend on whether your flight is direct. To Poland, it can be around 2 hours with cheap airlines like Ryanair and Wizzair.
Poland can also be more accessible from the UK than Turkey. Some direct flights (return) can cost around £50. Direct flights are available to Turkey, but for over £250.
So it can make it a much more expensive trip. It’s best to do your research first to find the most cost effective option where you can. You can also use your European travel card when you’re travelling.
