Who Is India Willoughby?
India Willoughby is an English journalist, broadcaster, and reality television personality. She is Britain’s first transgender news reporter and co-host of an all-women talk show. Ms Willoughby worked at ITV before and after her transition. After transitioning in 2016, she was featured in numerous news shows, talk shows, and reality TV shows, including Celebrity Big Brother.
Despite the backlash and online abuse, India Willoughby has been outspoken about transgender rights and championing visibility in media. She’s the winner of the 2017 Diversity in Media Award for Media Moment of the Year and was nominated for the Woman of the Year award in 2023.
