ABOUT MALE GYNECOMASTIA SURGERY IN POLAND

What Is Gynaecomastia?

Gynaecomastia is a medical term which means male breast enlargement. This is a very common condition experienced by many adult males. Our surgeon, Adam Kalecinski, regularly carries out the gynaecomastia operation to reduce male breast size.

In general, gynaecomastia can be described as the abnormal development of large mammary glands in males, which results in the enlargement of male breasts.

Breasts are made up of both fatty tissue and firm glandular tissue. Gynaecomastia surgery addresses both by removing excess fat through liposuction and excising the enlarged glands to create a smoother, flatter chest contour.

There is no known cause in most of the cases, and although gynaecomastia is rarely talked about, it is a very common condition, and many men now opt for male breast reduction at our clinic.

Gynaecomastia SURGERY ABROAD

What happens before gyno surgery in Poland?

Prior to surgery, our surgeon will invite you to a consultation where you will discuss all aspects of the gynaecomastia operation and your own current state of health. Here, he will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Once surgical preparations have been made, you will be administered general anesthesia. Our surgeon will make small incisions and carefully suck out the excess fatty tissue and glandular tissues via liposuction

Surgical technique:

  • General anaesthesia is used
  • Small, discreet incisions are made
  • Fat is removed via liposuction
  • Glandular tissue is carefully excised
  • Incisions are closed with dissolvable stitches
  • A compression garment is applied to aid healing

The procedure typically takes around 1.5 hours, and patients stay one night in the clinic. Our modern facility and experienced team ensure a high standard of care throughout.

What to expect after gynecomastic surgery?

After surgery, you will stay in our clinic for one night, and it is recommended that you stay in Poland for two nights post-surgery before returning home.

Recovery timeline:

  • Resume desk-based work: 10–14 days
  • Avoid strenuous activity: 3–4 weeks
  • Wear a compression garment, as advised by surgeon
  • Light massage may be recommended during recovery

You may experience mild swelling or bruising in the first few days, but this typically subsides quickly. You’ll receive full post-op instructions and follow-up advice from our team (included in the gynecomastia surgery cost).

Gyno Surgery Poland FAQs

How long is the stay in Poland?

You’ll stay one night in the clinic, and we recommend staying two additional nights in a hotel nearby.

Will there be visible scars?

The incisions we make during plastic surgery are small and discreet. Scars fade significantly over time and are usually barely noticeable on the male chest.

Is the procedure painful?

Discomfort is mild and well-managed with medication. Most patients describe it as soreness rather than pain.

Will the gynaecomastia return?

It’s unlikely that you will gain back the excess breast tissue if you maintain a healthy lifestyle. Glandular tissue removal is permanent, but weight gain can cause fatty tissue to return.
