A hair transplant is the process of moving and adding hair follicles to your scalp. It’s often performed to treat hair loss which can be due to an injury, a condition or simply personal choice.

A hair transplant procedure should be done by a qualified surgeon who uses a local anaesthetic. It means you won’t feel any pain throughout the operation.

There are 2 methods. One is through follicular unit excision (FUE). The second is FUT (follicular unit transplantation). You can learn more about the difference between FUT vs FUE.
